The RHS Chelsea Flower Show

The Chelsea Flower Show is quite possibly the biggest and most well-known of all the flower shows in the United Kingdom.

It receives extensive television coverage and regular visits from royalty such as Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh. Competition at the flower shows is fierce.

The avant-garde gardens are some of the most eagerly anticipated displays of the flower show, and visitors from across the world flock to see the wacky designs on offer.

The Floral Marquee forms the centre piece of the avant-garde gardens. Over 157,000 people visit the Chelsea Flower Show annually and all tickets must be purchased in advance of the show. It is said that you will find every type of flower in the world at the show, and it certainly never disappoints!

Harrogate Flower Show

The Harrogate Flower Show typically takes place in late April every year and is a fantastic family day out as all children under 16 years old gain free entry.

Many visitors to the show wait until the final day to make purchases, as a lot of the exhibitors decide to sell off their display flowers to the general public on their last day in Harrogate.

Harrogate is one of the friendliest flower shows in the country and it attracts a loyal following year after year.
